I'm Ele Crossland, a Level 3 Body Control Pilates teacher.
I began practising Pilates ten years ago and loved how this non-impact exercise strengthened and toned my body. In addition, just one hour of concentration and focus allowed my mind to have a break from its constant business. I was hooked!
Coming to a cross-roads with work, I decided to retrain as a Pilates teacher, and registered with London-based Body Control Pilates. I qualified in Spring 2017 and my training involved intensive study in their London studio, as well as 60 hours of supervised teaching with experienced teachers around the country.
Shoreline Pilates was established in 2017. I teach group Pilates classes in Tetney Lincolnshire suitable for all levels and abilities, and am particularly interested in the relationship between the body and the mind. My speciality is private, bespoke classes, giving you the opportunity to work on your own goals and develop your strength, confidence and quality of movement.
I have several years' experience of teaching Pilates on luxury Pilates holidays in Italy and am passionate about learning and developing as a teacher. Please see my qualifications and CPD below.

"I've been participating in Ele's classes at Tetney and now Louth for several years. Last year I made the decision to invest in the blocks of 1-1 classes to supplement group classes. I'm 60 and have a variety of issues relating to arthritis. I have found that pilates for me isn't only incredibly enjoyable but deeply strengthening. We loose so much muscle mass as we get older a priority for me are weight bearing exercises and I find the classes are very much geared to this.

Between 2017 and 2022, I spent time in Greece and Italy teaching Pilates for small groups of clients on private holidays. With up to twelve Pilates sessions during their week, clients really benefited from their twice-daily classes and could feel and see progress and improvements in terms of strength, mobility, stamina and posture.
