PRE + POST NATAL PILATES

Keep moving through your pregnancy and beyond with Pilates

Pilates is a safe and effective way to keep your body active and strong during and after your pregnancy. My bespoke Pilates classes are designed to help pre- and post-natal clients understand more about their bodies, move in a way appropriate to them, and exercise and strengthen to support your body through your pregnancy and after birth.


A one to one pre-natal Pilates class includes:

  • Gentle, safe & effective movements, designed specifically for pregnancy
  • Exercises to maintain and develop strength in your core, spine, pelvis and joints to support your growing baby
  • Strengthen pelvic floor muscles to help prevent stress incontinence & women's health issues post birth
  • Prepare your body for birth
  • Take some time out from daily life to focus on you and your body.


A one-to-one post-natal Pilates class includes:

  • Gentle, safe & effective movements specifically for women who have been through pregnancy & labour
  • Maintain strength in your whole body to ease aches, pains & stiffness
  • Exercises to regain strength in core muscles & assist in combatting diastis recti 
  • Strengthen pelvic floor muscles
  • Realign your body to help regain good posture
  • Take some time out from daily life to focus on you and your body.

I am proud to have recently trained in Pilates for Breast Cancer Rehab with Body Control Pilates, and am excited to bring a safe and effective exercise method to you.

Pilates for Runners

Specialist Pilates to support leisure & competitive runners

As well as being an incredible form of exercise in its own right, Pilates is very effective in helping support other physical activities, such as running. No matter the reason for an individual to run - whether for leisure or social or as part of another sport such as football or rugby - Pilates really complements the mechanics of running.


Pilates has three main benefits for regular runners: rejuvenation (helping in recovery from running, balancing and stretching the body, aiding with injury recovery), maintenance (keeping the body free from injury a fit state for good performance) and performance enhancement (using Pilates to improve running techniques and habits, creating movement strategies for more efficient movement). Together, they create a really powerful tool to complement any runners' lifestyle.
